York is a historic city in the  beautiful  Yorkshire Dales and has a variety of interesting architecture.    The city offers something for everyone and with a variety of clubs, galleries and museums there is always something to do .York being a small city has a friendly feel and the nightlife is centred around well used bars and clubs which include Revolution,Mansion,Duchess,Vodka Revs,The Gallery and many more. The university has a free night bus which gets you home safely. If you feel like a flutter the Race Course is a great day out but dont take your card just cash and only what your parents can afford to lose.

Shopping among the medieval streets of York is a fantastic experience and most shops in are located in the City Centre with a few locations on the outskirts including Clifton Moor and York Designer Outlet, which are well worth visiting.
