The Paisley campus is just a 5 minute walk from Paisley's Gilmour Street Train Station making access to Glasgow and other neighbouring locations very easy. For those requiring to travel further Glasgow International Airport is on the outskirts of town and Prestwick International Airport is also easily accessible, being just over 30 minutes away by road or train.

Paisley is Scotland's largest town and is a lively place to be. It was originally famous for its weaving and thread industries and most notable for the world famous Paisley pattern. Paisley combines heritage and history with all the facilities you'd expect from a large town. As a student you will not get bored as there are plenty of cafes and bars and you can also play golf, cycle and ice skate locally.
The university campus is located in the west of Scotland in the centre of Scotland's largest town. The campus occupies over 20 acres and is home to teaching, lecture, workshop and laboratory accommodation as well as the library, Students' Union and some student accommodation.
There are a lot of pubs in Paisley, from the typical old man style pub to the more young style pub. Recommended pubs are Paddys, Bull inn and Old Swan. There are also a few clubs in town including Furys for the 18-22 ish age groups and Venas for the over 25s. Furys is cheap and sticky and Venas tends to be very expensive. The union is generally seen as the best place to go in Paisley for a good night out and it's the place to be on a Friday.
